Thermal Diffusivity

A measure of how quickly a material reaches thermal equilibrium with its surroundings. All else being equal, materials with higher values reach the same temperature as their surroundings faster than those with lower values. Values are calculated from thermal conductivity, density, and specific heat capacity.
