ANSI/AA Cast Aluminum

Unlike the Aluminum Association designations for wrought alloys, those for cast alloys are not shared by both Europe and North America. The first three digits, plus any leading letters, of the designation identify the alloy composition. The trailing ".0" indicate that the information relates to castings. Alternately, ".1" would indicate ingot, and ".2" would indicate ingot with special composition considerations.
