ASTM Grade 45 or 300 (ISO 300, EN-JL 1050, F13101) Grey Cast Iron
Grade 45 cast iron is grey cast iron in the as-fabricated (no temper or treatment) condition. Grade 45 is the ASTM designation for this material. 300 is the ISO numeric designation. And F13101 is the UNS number. The graph bars on the material properties cards below compare grade 45 cast iron to: cast irons (top), all iron alloys (middle), and the entire database (bottom). A full bar means this is the highest value in the relevant set. A half-full bar means it's 50% of the highest, and so on.
