AWS BNi-5 (N99650) Filler Metal
AWS BNi-5 is a nickel-based filler metal for brazing. Cited properties are appropriate for the as-fabricated (no temper or treatment) condition. BNi-5 is the AWS designation for this material. N99650 is the UNS number.
It has the highest melting temperature among the nickel-based brazing fillers in the database.
The graph bars on the material properties cards below compare AWS BNi-5 to: nickel-based brazing fillers (top), all nickel alloys (middle), and the entire database (bottom). A full bar means this is the highest value in the relevant set. A half-full bar means it's 50% of the highest, and so on.
