AWS BVAg-29 (P07627) Vacuum Service Filler Metal
AWS BVAg-29 is a silver-based filler metal for brazing. Cited properties are appropriate for the as-fabricated (no temper or treatment) condition. BVAg-29 is the AWS designation for this material. P07627 is the UNS number.
It has a moderately high tensile strength among silver-based braze fillers. In addition, it has a fairly low heat capacity and a moderately low melting temperature.
The graph bars on the material properties cards below compare AWS BVAg-29 to: silver-based braze fillers (top), all alloys in the same category (middle), and the entire database (bottom). A full bar means this is the highest value in the relevant set. A half-full bar means it's 50% of the highest, and so on.
