AWS E630 (W37410) Weld Metal
AWS E630 is a weld metal formulated for joining stainless steels. Cited properties are appropriate for the post-weld heat treated (PWHT) condition. E630 is the AWS designation for this material. W37410 is the UNS number. Additionally, the ISO numeric designation is ES630.
It has the highest tensile strength among stainless steel welding fillers. In addition, it has the lowest ductility and a very low embodied energy.
The graph bars on the material properties cards below compare AWS E630 to: stainless steel welding fillers (top), all iron alloys (middle), and the entire database (bottom). A full bar means this is the highest value in the relevant set. A half-full bar means it's 50% of the highest, and so on.
