CR019A copper is a lightly alloyed grade of copper, formulated for casting. Cited properties are appropriate for the as-fabricated (no temper or treatment) condition. CR019A is the EN numeric designation for this material. Additionally, the EN chemical designation is CuAg0,10(OF).
It has a moderately high thermal conductivity among cast coppers. In addition, it has a moderately low tensile strength and a moderately high base cost.

Alloy Composition
Among cast copper alloys, the composition of CR019A copper is notable for including silver (Ag) and bismuth (Bi). Silver is used to increase recrystallization temperature in copper alloys. This permits operation at higher temperatures without permanent loss of mechanical properties. Bismuth improves machinability and pressure tightness. It is used a non-toxic but more expensive replacement for lead.
