ASTM A436 Type 2 (L-NiCr 20 2, F41002) Cast Iron
ASTM A436 type 2 is a type of austenitic grey cast iron. Cited properties are appropriate for the stress relieved condition. ASTM A436 Type 2 is the ASTM designation for this material. F41002 is the UNS number. Additionally, the British Standard (BS) designation is F2. And the AFNOR (French) designation is FGL Ni20 Cr2.
The graph bars on the material properties cards below compare ASTM A436 type 2 to: cast irons (top), all iron alloys (middle), and the entire database (bottom). A full bar means this is the highest value in the relevant set. A half-full bar means it's 50% of the highest, and so on.
